Rail First Shot Drill

Instructions
- Place the object ball a few inches away from the rail, roughly between two diamonds.
- Position the cue ball so it cannot contact the object ball directly without first hitting the rail.
- Aim the cue ball into the rail first, using the natural rebound angle to send it into the object ball.
- Focus on speed control and angle, not power—let the rail do the work.
- Repeat from multiple rail distances and angles, alternating sides of the table.
